Racing Shoes

Suitable for competitive/track runners

These shoes have a much lower heel and often a raised or tapered forefoot to encourage forefoot striking and increased speed. They are ultra-lightweight shoes for faster runs and races.

Racing shoes have less cushioning and stability features than most training shoes. They are much lighter and efficient, but probably not recommended for general training and to be used cautiously in those with a history of biomechanically induced lower limb injury.

Think about buying these if:

• You are a track runner
• You’re a light and fast runner where the weight of a shoe may influence competition results
