Motion control shoes offer maximum support and cushioning for people whose feet are subject to increased pronation moments.

They are designed to slow down or limit extreme inward rolling of the foot and ankle, which may contribute to injury. They are the most rigid, control-oriented running shoes and may include features such as a firmer section under the inner edge of your foot (known as a medial or varus post).

They offer stability and maximum support down the inside aspect of the foot.
